![]() Gymnocalycium neuhuberi, described as recently as 1992, is becoming increasingly popular in cultivation. The plant in the picture is my second attempt at growing the species. My first example flowered beautifully but as the flowers withered the crown of the plant developed a serious rot and it said "Good bye". I think I’m having better luck this time around. Both my plants flowered in late May and I thought I could detect a faint scent from the flowers. — Alasdair Glen.
