![]() Schlumbergera orssichiana Not quite the usual Christmas cactus, Schlumbergera truncata, on the front page but what I think might be S. orssichiana or a hybrid of it. The flowers are somewhat different in that they are larger, wider opening, stamens and stigma lobes are less protruding. The stem segments are very similar. The species is reputed to flower several times in the year but I haven’t yet seen that. Any comments? — Alasdair Glen
