Crassula lactea

Crassula lactea

Crassula lactea, not a very choice plant, not a very handsome plant but a very robust plant which spends the summer outside, comes into the greenhouse for the winter and has flowers which last from January till March. I'm happy to give it a place in my collection.

Spring again and time to once more enjoy the flowers on our cacti, to see some flowering for the first time and of course to ponder why some plants seem to have given up flowering. Time also, to have a look at the calendar and perhaps consider a visit to one of the Shows, or one day Conventions that take place around the country. Events that come to mind are the Birmingham Show or the Zone 6, Zone 9 or Zone 3 Conventions. Don't forget either, that your BCSS membership entitles you to attend the meeting of any branch so if you're travelling around the country on holiday you might just find a branch meeting to pop in to.
